Humor and satire was his calling card!  The late Stan Freberg was an awarding producer, comic, voice of characters, writer, and advertising genius.

PMM had the pleasure of working with him on several occasions with some ecumenical friends.  Dennis Benson and Gregg Hartung met up with him on one of his stops in Pittsburgh when he was working with PPG Paints, remember his phrase about listening to color radio as a play on the competition between radio and TV.  Stan did some TV but was most known for his theater of the mind in painting a picture you could imagine like draining Lake Michigan.

Dennis and Gregg sat in Pittsburgh International Airport and interviewed him for Passages which was another one of those special moments in this media ministry of storytelling.

Here is a memorable production that Stan in being a person of faith captures the need for people gathered in community to truly experience God’s love.  His dad was a Baptist minister.
