“Beyond Wearing Pink: How You Can Support Breast Cancer Awareness”

Breast cancer mortality rates have declined 39 percent due to the continued support of research and education. Imagine how many more lives could be saved if more people knew how to donate to the cause.

We share the stories of 2 women on Passages as we celebrate cancer survivors and pray for loved ones remembering people they have lost in the battle with cancer.  We encourage all women to get breast examines. October is “Breast Cancer Awareness Month!”

A resource guide explains how readers can go beyond wearing pink by donating their unused airline miles and credit card rewards to several breast cancer charities – something most people are unaware of.

We also included information on how to avoid charity scams and ensure your donation lands in deserving hands.
